Spawn Of Possession: Signs multiple album deal
2005-10-24: Swedish technical death metal outfit Spawn Of Possession have signed a multiple album deal with Neurotic Records. The band will utilize Pama Studios in Kristianopel Sweden once again together with highly acclaimed producer Magnus Sedenberg for an intense period somewhere between January and February 2006. The band is expected to tour right after the expected late winter/early spring release of this as of yet untitled masterpiece. Spawn Of Possession will not only re-visit familiar territories, but will also expand to newer, untouched ones in support for this album.

This follow-up to 2003’s “Cabinet” album will be even more technical, but at the same time it consists of more grooving and recognisable parts, while also being more epical approached all over. Simply put, old fans will absolutely love this, yet new souls will be collected largely. The writing process is in full progress, and so far about half a full length’s worth of material has been completed. The lyrical approach, music and artwork will all benefit the reflection of a concept based on a, what at this point is best described as, “surreal ghost story”.

Ruud Lemmen, founder of Neurotic Records, comments: “We are extremely delighted to announce Spawn of Possession as latest addition to our roster. We absolutely love the band ever since we saw them at their first gig out of Sweden and we have always been in great contact for various reasons. We see a bright future ahead for them, and we are truly honoured to be the privileged ones to push them forward for their next few steps. These lads are not on their top yet, and the world has yet to see the very best of them.”

Spawn Of Possession bass player Nick Dewerud adds: “It feels great to become a part of the ever growing and promising Neurotic cycle. Together with them we are prepared and ready to climb even higher on the ladder of sophisticated brutality and set new standards in the community of extreme music. Brace yourselves for a substantial assault from Spawn of Possession!”

Prostitute Disfigurement: Signs to Neurotic Records
2005-03-09: Often called the most offensive, horrifying and insultive death metal act ever, Prostitute Disfigurement have become the latest addition to the ever growing Neurotic Records roster. The band, who previously released their second full length album "Deeds Of Derangement" on German based label Morbid Records, already recorded their sophomore album which tops everything that has been done before in the Prostitute Disfigurement history. The album was recorded at Studio Excess (Sinister, Pyaemia, Disavowed, a.o.) and is entitled "Left In Grisly Fashion". Some of the songtitles are: "Bluedrum Torso", "Victims Of The Absurd" and "Shotgun Horror". The band, fronted by maniacal vocalst Niels Adams, have altered their line-up by changing drummers and adding a second guitarplayer once again, making them stronger than ever before. Vocals duties were tracked in Robbe K's (Disavowed/Arsebreed) mobile recording studio and are the most in your face death metal vocals heard in quite a while. Of course on top of that some guest vocal appearances of Robbe K (Disavowed, Arsebreed) and Joey (Pyaemia, Arsebreed) couldn't be left behind. "Left In Grisly Fashion" contains 10 tracks of pure death metal mayhem, and is expected to surface near the end of June.

Ruins: Signs to Neurotic Records
2005-02-21: Neurotic Record is proud to announce that Australian based band Ruins recently joined the firmly growing artist roster. Ruins, who initially caught our attention by releasing their debut MCD on Blacktalon Media, delivers aggressive innovative black metal with dark eerie death dynamics. All this is packed in a rather unique and heavy sound. Ruins features the well talented multi instrumentalist Alex Pope on Vocals, Guitars and Bass and is accompanied by wellknown drummer David Haley known from Psycroptic and The Amenta on drums. The debut full-length album "Spun Forth As Dark Nets" is already recorded, and is currently in the mixing phase, which will be handled by the band themselves in close cooperation with Joe Haley from Pscyroptic. Mastering will commence after this in a yet unspecified recording facility. "Spun Forth As Dark Nets" contains 8 songs, and some of the song titles, in no particular order are: "The Ends Of The Earth", "Feed The Emptiness" and "No Trace Or Rumour". The album will see the light of day in May 2005 by Neurotic Records.
Arsebreed: Signs to Neurotic Records
2005-02-07: Dutch brutal death metal formation Arsebreed recently inked a deal with Neurotic Records. The band houses some of the most talented icons from the well beloved and praised dutch death metal scene, and includes members from Pyaemia, Disavowed and Mangled. The first, as of yet untitled, album will be recorded somewhere in the second half of 2005, and will be released before the end of this year. Expect a dose of well tought out heavy grinding death metal with explosive dual vocal attacks following up on eachother rapidly. Even though this band is formed around people who all have their own other bands this band is not to be seen as just another side-project, and therefore there will be shows to support their upcoming album when the time is right.
