Ulcerate: Sign recording agreement with Neurotic Records
2006-04-19: With great delight Neurotic Records unveils the latest addition to its ever growing artist roster, being New Zealand based Ulcerate. This young and innovative extreme metal act deliver a very heavy form of technical death metal, while at the same time incorporating several elements from all kinds of different styles and genres of metal. Ulcerate’s debut album, tentatively titled “Of Fracture And Failure”, which has been recorded and is currently in mixing stages, will positively surprise all sorts of fans of extreme metal.

Ruud Lemmen of Neurotic Record commented: “Ulcerate is one of those, so called, hidden gems we have been following from their first demo back in 2003 and on. This band continuously progressed over the past few years and they never ceased to amaze us. As a collective unit this band embodies the talent to create highly skilled, technical yet very structured songs, while keeping a rather fresh form of aggressiveness within their music. We are very confident that their debut album will be received very well and will appeal to many.”

Drummer Jamie Saint Merat of Ulcerate added: "Ulcerate is extremely proud to be associated with Neurotic Records, a label we've watched grow from its infancy and we're excited to be part of such a great and diverse label roster. It gives us the opportunity to get this album exposed to as many people as possible, and hopefully stamp our mark within the scene. 'Of Fracture and Failure' is without a doubt our most accomplished and diverse material to date, and we're confident that it has something unique to offer the extreme music community. We really hope for this album to be one of the few style-defining releases in death metal. We must give thanks to Ruud Lemmen and all at Neurotic Records for supporting us and giving us this amazing opportunity - we can't wait for the album to be unleashed and start touring!"

“Of Fracture And Failure” is set to be released through Neurotic Records around Summer 2006. A definite release date will be decided on soon and one or two MP3 songs from the album will become available shortly after.

Peter Persson (guitar) commented: "The new album will be the most devestating death metal unleashed by the band so far. Me and Tobbe are working hard to finalise the tracklist, and so far the material is sounding great! It's fast, it's furious, it's technical but this time it has a wider range and a lot more diversity".

Panzerchrist: Rejoined by Reno

The band comments: "As work proceeded it became obvious that Bent's Nyeng (Die) style of drumming didn't really fit the style of Panzerchrist, so we decided to replace him. Drums will as of now be performed by Reno 'The Fastest Feet In The World' Kiilerich. Reno was the obvious choice and we are glad to be working with him again. Expect nothing but the end of the world as we know it. All bow to the Battalion beast."
Visceral Bleeding: Extend recording agreement
2006-02-02: After a brief negotiation period, Neurotic Records is very pleased to announce that Swedish death metal formation Visceral Bleeding have decided to extend their recording agreement with two more full-length albums. In additional news the band has named Martin Pedersen as their official vocalist. Martin already proved himself on the UK headline tour in May as well as on the recent European tour with Deicide and fellow labelmates Prostitute Disfigurement.

Peter Persson comments: "It feels great to extend our collaboration with Neurotic Records and to be a part of its ever growing roster of elite-extreme bands like Spawn Of Possession, Prostitute Disfigurement, Psycroptic and so on. The new album will prove our diversity and will perhaps even be perceived as quite different from 'Transcend Into Ferocity' and 'Remnants Of Deprivation'. Tobbe and me are working hard on the arrangements and we feel that this will be the strongest Visceral Bleeding material to this date. After Dennis decided to quit the band and focus completely on Spawn Of Possession, we started searching for someone who was just as charasmatic as him and who could muster the role of being a suitable frontman for the band. Finally we found Martin Pedersen and after being on two tours and doing a bunch of festivals and smaller gigs with him we feel it's time to announce him as the official vocalist of Visceral Bleeding. He gets along great with everyone in the band and we always have a kick-ass time together when we're on tours. We're really excited to see what Martin can bring up to the table when it comes to vocal arrangements and different type of vocals for the new album.”

In the meantime Visceral Bleeding are hard at work to complete the songwriting process for the, as of yet untitled, successor to "Transcend Into Ferocity", and recordings are expected to commence in early Summer.

Dennis Röndum, drummer and spokesperson of Spawn Of Possession comments: "All of us in the band are totally hyped up to finally start laying down our new tunes. We just finalised the last instrumental details for the album and all I dare to say at this point is that this is going to be more than a worthy successor to our 2003 album entitled Cabinet."
